Akustikverkstan is a growing consulting firm in acoustics, vibrations and product development.

At the moment we are 18 employees with expertise in different areas. The consultants are based in Lidköping, Trollhättan, Gothenburg, Stockholm and Uppsala. Our commitments treat measurements, calculations and investigations concerning most areas of acoustics such as building acoustics, road and train noise, room acoustics, sound insulation, wind power noise, industry noise, open-pit mining/vibrations, automotive etc. Our customers are found throughout Sweden as well as abroad.

Accurate measurements of sound absorption, sound insulation and sound radiation are accessed via Akustikverkstan’s own acoustical laboratory. As one of two approved Swedish laboratories, we are accredited by Swedac to measurements of sound absorption since 2013. We are since 2014 also accredited by Swedac to measurements of sound power from wind power mills.

We have great experience in education when it comes to acoustics. One of our leading consultants, Ph. D. Pontus Thorsson has repeatedly been rewarded for his pedagogical skills as a lecturer at Chalmers University of Technology.

Our business idea is “to provide consultancy services with the greatest customer benefit within all areas of acoustics. We aim to be the leaders of the industry in Sweden when it comes to practical knowledge, which is to be kept up with the world science.”

Akustikverkstan is not the largest company in the industry, however we have a very high level of education, great experience and solid dedication, in addition to a reasonable cost!
